“My dedication to building a personalized caregiving team begins with my personal involvement.”
Hello, I’m Marcy Olson.
I’m the founder of Hybrid Senior Care, and I'm deeply committed to raising the bar in Alzheimer's and dementia care services. I help families keep their loved ones at home as long as possible and help them find the right place if the time comes.
My dedication to building a personalized caregiving team begins with my hands-on involvement. I visit each client regularly, observing their progress and changes in their condition. I work closely with their families and care teams, ensuring that we adapt and adjust caregivers as needed to suit their unique situations.
My journey into senior care started from a place of genuine empathy and connection with the elderly. As a child, I spent shifts at nursing homes where my mother worked as a nurse, and these early experiences ignited my lifelong commitment to the well-being of seniors.
My best friend today is 93, and this enduring friendship has deepened my understanding of older adults' unique needs and joys. I chose to leave my career in management and follow my passion for private caregiving. Working with my first Alzheimer's clients, I fell in love with memory care and caregiving for seniors. I have personally worked with and spent time with dozens of elderly patients with unique situations, from typical memory issues to advanced dementia.
My expertise is in helping families build high-quality caregiver teams, managing those teams effectively, and positively impacting the lives of my clients. I stay informed on the latest studies, trends, and literature on Alzheimer's, dementia, and caregiving, engaging in meaningful conversations with gerontologists and the families I've served. I work closely with outstanding Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) in assisted and memory care facilities. I thoughtfully select caregivers with the qualities essential for exceptional private care and have amassed an incredible team and network of extraordinary caregivers. I place specific caregivers to match personalities and the needs of each individual and their families.
In the community, I've become known as an expert in guiding families toward the proper care solutions for their loved ones and making those solutions a reality. My experience spans various aspects of senior care, including memory care, Alzheimer's and dementia care, stroke survivors, Parkinson's disease, and early-onset Alzheimer's, combined with the art of building successful caregiver teams for families in Utah. I'm here to provide the support and expertise you need to ensure your loved one receives the best care possible.
